Joaquin 1673's Ideal Home: This cuddle bug will do well in just about any home but would prefer one that is on the calm and quiet side. Due to his tiny size, no small children, young adults in house OK.
Joaquin 1673's Favorite Things: Initally he didn't care much for toys but seems to be starting to play. He has a funny, cute habit of touching new things with his paw, is now playing with his toys and shaking them.
Making Friends with Joaquin 1673: He is a bit standoffish until he gets to know you. He can be easily bribed him with a piece of cheese. LOVES to sleep in bed with his foster mom, never moves all night long! Falls asleep on foster Mom's lap all the time, especially when she is on the computer. He loves his walks and is very well leash trained, does not "mark" when he is walking, pees just twice once at the beginning of the walk and once at the end. Never "marks" in the house and will bark or scratch on the door to go out, will ring bells too!

Current Health: Great but does require thyroid supplement and has an occasional, mild seizure. Blood work is in the normal range, controlling his thyroid problem and minimizing his seizures. Dental completed 03/13.
Medicines Needed: Thyrosyn 0.1mg - 1 tablet every 12 hours, Phenobarbitol 15mg 1-1/2 tablet twice daily and Monthly Preventatives.
