Delta's Ideal Home: Someone with patience to teach her all the things she doesn`t know. Fenced yard a must.
Delta's Favorite Things: Sleeps on chair next to human. lies around outside in sunshine.
Making Friends with Delta: Be quiet. Hold her close and let her feel your heart beat - she needs to learn that humans are good. Teach her to trust. Delta is a delight and learns new things quickly. Delta is learning that it is a good thing to do her potty outside. If given enough time, this will happen. More attached to foster mom than dad, but will now take treats from him and will give kisses on the back of his legs when he is making her dinner. Delta likes to sleep in her small crate beside the bed at night. Delta has been adopted out 3 times and come back - once for not bonding with male in family, once because small child moved into home and intimidated her and the third time because owner started traveling a lot and Delta did not get along with the pet sitter. Delta is terrified in the car and gets car sick. Best if she stays in Brevard Co.
